On October 22, 2026, the International Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration & Cold Chain Industry Exhibition (RACC2026) kicked off at Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center. This year’s exhibition attracted 528 enterprises from home and abroad, covering an exhibition area of 30,000 square meters, spanning the entire industrial chain including refrigeration equipment, cold chain logistics, HVAC, data center thermal management, etc. It is one of the largest professional refrigeration and cold chain exhibitions in East China this year.
According to the organizer’s data, over 2,000 overseas visitors from 109 countries and regions pre-registered for the exhibition, with an expected total of more than 40,000 global buyers, including over 2,500 overseas professional visitors. Multi-country purchasing groups have arrived, consisting of cold chain engineering contractors and equipment traders from regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and South Asia. Exhibitors include leading enterprises in the refrigeration industry chain such as Sanhua Intelligent Control, Juhua Co., Ltd., Deye Co., Ltd., and Jingchuang Co., Ltd., as well as numerous specialized enterprises in cold storage engineering, refrigerants, compressors, and parts.
Since its inception, the RACC exhibition has been held for six consecutive sessions, gradually evolving into an important platform connecting the global refrigeration industry chain. This year’s exhibition has established a global network cooperation with Germany’s CHILLVENTA International Refrigeration Exhibition, further expanding international buyer channels. The supporting “Quzhou Purchase” procurement matching event held during the exhibition attracted 37 buyers from 18 countries, while the concurrent “Sanhua Tour” enterprise visit activity promoted in-depth exchanges and international cooperation between upstream and downstream of the industry chain.
From a technical perspective, this year’s exhibition focused on showcasing the latest application progress of natural refrigerant refrigeration systems such as carbon dioxide (CO₂), ammonia (NH₃), and hydrocarbons, as well as high-efficiency energy-saving equipment like magnetic levitation compressors and variable frequency compressors. Multiple concurrent forums focused on cutting-edge topics such as refrigerant iteration paths, cold chain logistics efficiency improvement, and AI-enabled intelligent operation and maintenance of refrigeration systems, reflecting that the industry is accelerating its transformation from traditional fluorine-based refrigeration to low-carbon, natural refrigerant, and digital directions.
For cold storage construction and operators, this exhibition has released three key signals. First, the refrigerant substitution process is accelerating, and the low-carbon refrigerant route will become an important selection direction for new cold storage, so enterprises need to evaluate the technical adaptability of CO₂ and ammonia refrigeration systems in advance. Second, the trend of digitalization and intelligence is clear, and AI energy efficiency management and remote operation and maintenance are becoming core means for cold storage to reduce costs and increase efficiency. Third, the cold chain demand in Southeast Asian, South Asian, and Middle Eastern markets continues to grow. Domestic refrigeration equipment export enterprises can actively expand overseas orders through the exhibition’s international procurement channels and seize market opportunities in cold chain infrastructure construction under the Belt and Road Initiative.
